A home-based sewing business is another great venture. If you have sewing skills in this day and age, your business will be in demand. There is becoming quite a shortage on people who have these kinds of skills. One option is to create your own line of clothing, blankets and accessories and offer them for sale. The only equipment needed to start would be a good dewing machine and sewing supplies. Later a computer to do online business would be a great avenue.

A bookkeeping, tax and accounting business from your home could be a profitable home based business, as well. There is little start up cost to this work at home venture. Obviously, one must have accounting skills to be successful and a computer is almost a must. This is a very high demand service.

So as you can see, there are many opportunities for work at home/home-based businesses for people who are in the market for that type of work.
